“ My review is based on the catering side of the business. I got to try mission bbq from work and being from Kansas City I was very skeptical to try bbq in Pennsylvania. I was ultimately very surprised and satisfied with what I had. I got to try a little bit of everything but there were some standouts. First the brisket was great it had some great flavor and definitely wasn't dry. The pulled pork was a close second. For the sides the Mac and cheese took the friend for my favorite. They also have a variety of sauces you can try. An absolutely great spot in Pennsylvania to get fantastic bbq. ”
“ Stop in for the first time tonight. What a nice surprise. Not really bq fans here but.....their smoked ribs are awesome. The homemade Mac and cheese was amazing. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend ”
“ Amazing food from the brisket to all of the sides(but especially the mac n chz and green beans with bacon, oh and the potato salad). We enjoyed the smokey man sauce and bayoo too. Very clean establishment. Awesome to honor our veterans and heroes! Amen ”
“ Great food and great, friendly service from an establishment that supports our military and veterans. ”

“ Nice... finally tried Mission BBQ... and can say I will return again for more ... Service was great, just couldn't try everything on their menu all during a single visit. Food was delicious... ”
“ We went to their US 1 Location near the Oxford Valley Mall EXCELLENT! Yum! Delish! ”
“ Good barbecue and decent prices. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I had the beef brisket and fries, and everything was delicious. The decor is first responder and military themed and great. You would think with the theme and emphasis on militay and other first responders that they would offer a military discount, well they do not. Overall, it was a great experience. ”
“ Gotta love the dedication of Mission BBQ to veterans and first responders. Five Stars for all they do to support them. Five Stars, too, to the superior level of customer service provided by all the employees from front door greeter to those who buss the tables after every use. Four Stars for the warehouse look of the restaurant. High ceilings, exposed utilities, military artifacts and slogans that capture the essence of military patriotism. But, on this day only Three Stars for the actual BBQ. The sampler I ordered of Brisket, Pork Spareribs, fries, baked beans and corn bread was strong on its side dishes, but missed the mark in the smoked meat department. Neither had any bark-that crispy crust that develops in a properly heated smoker oven when the right spices are rubbed into the meat and the fat has hours to melt and mix with the spices and natural juices to form a delicious dark layer that seals in the finished meat and provides that strong flavor we all love. I am not an expert, but have eaten enough great Q on visits to Virginia, North Carolina and Texas to know awesome ribs and brisket from the ho-hum. This batch just wasn't it. Whether lack of heat or too much moisture/humidity, the bark didn't materialize - the magic didn't happen. Everything was still pull off the bone tender, and the multitude of sauces partially covered up what was missing, but a bite of the beef and pork without assistance from the table rockets showed how bland they really were. It may have been a one off day for the kitchen and chef that will be rectified quickly by attention to oven temperature and amount of fat left on the raw meat, but this was my experience. I hope they do fix this issue and put more bark on these dogs. No bark. Why bite? 3.5 STARS ”
